I probably wouldn't remember that I had a blog till now. Yea, there's Facebook but I still prefer a bit of privacy, especially when I feel the compulsion to air my woes/concerns/thoughts. I will not air my grievances for now. It is probably not a good time to, especially when one is about to confront those seemingly insuperable obstacles set ahead.

I hate to study honestly. I have always been and still am a playful boy that procrastinates and knows only enjoyment in his dictionary. That's why I was addicted to LAN gaming/computer games. Whether or not these games enriched my life is indeterminate, at least for me. I shan't go into there but my point is, I see studying as a means to an end. That doesn't mean I hate school or anything, but the defining trait of a school to me, is essentially studying. Yes, we also have moral education and friendship and CCA, but they all dwarf in comparison to academics. That's the part I hate and perhaps this narrow view of me isn't going to change any time in the future (unfortunately). So screw mugging and muggers, which seem like an oxymoron, esp when classmates label me as "MM" - mugging machine. Wrong perception there, but I shan't defend myself either. I see mugging as a very selfish act, something which I love to detest but I can't in a competitive environment. Let's face it, whether you mug or don't mug, nobody really cares (incl teachers), you have to study for your own sake, and yes for YOUR OWN SAKE, not others'.

Who would really comfort you if you messed up A levels? I bear a pessimistic view that ultimately an individual will have himself only to blame if he didn't try hard enough when he could have previously. No amount of comfort by peers and family will suffice. It is really heart-sinking, and I can totally visualise that. And worst still, when you see others holding up their stellar achievements, you will go crazy with envy. Now, I must clarify, I am not an individual that goes green with envy all the time, in fact, I hardly do. But to turn crazy with envy stems one's regret that he could have been on par with his peers at least if he had tried hard enough back then. So morale of the story: STUDY diligently for your own sake (it sounds selfish but this is a pragmatic view), because you wouldn't want to be the most sad individual upon receiving your A level results on that fateful day. And please, excuses like I never study still can do well is just pure bullshit. Peers can go "WOW" at this, but ultimately you are risking your future for something that's not worth doing. (There's is nothing to boast about when you fall from grace). Hard work is key but do remember that studying is BAD FOR HEALTH. I NEED SOME LIFE.

Enough of all these contradictions, I shall await the announcement for the newly elected President!

Wow, Beijing is such a wonderful place. Visited many places of interests so far, like the 北京动物园，鸟巢，水立方，and so. Life is not really that relaxed though it is very fun at the same time. Next week onwards, can't afford to slack since it is the test week and I have to quickly settle things regarding Unit Camp. When I come back, it will be terrible since I will have no English and Biology OP. This is totally bad news + I need to mug extremely hard for IHE exam and biology test. I can't do that amidst settling Unit Camp stuff so i must settle Unit Camp issues ASAP.

ACY is ownage la, especially when it comes to bargaining. He also get cheap deals given his talented persuasion. I keep getting niaoed by Paxton, who I now know is not really decent guy...
He must have inherited Zijian's genes. I keep having this feeling of going back to HCI leh cuz I feel that I am lagging back madly. Maybe I have regrets about going to BSC at this time but regrets can't change reality now. It will be much better if I was at HCI to settle issues personally. Well for Pday, both of my groups passed especially luckily for Cat 1. I shall dedicate June holidays to further build on both projects, especially HK's one, since he mentioned he wanted A* at all costs.

Studies wise, I having a hard time for Biology and Chemistry since the progress is exceedingly fast. physics I will need to self study since Chia Kean is not a very good teacher when it comes to teaching but a strict one when punishing students and enforcing rules. I made quite a lot of friends, like Wenhao, Wei Cher, Mark and so on. Aiya, Life is both terrible and good at times. Nevertheless, it is still a good experience afterall.

Ok, I have done most of my homework already. For physics, it was terrible trying to surf the net sourcing for ans. she does not provide materials and the textbook, I must say, is a waste of money. What she puts on that wrksht mostly can't be found on the textbook. Possibly those are that type of high order thinking qns she always sets. For IHC, it was equally hard, especially qns 2, I don't get it at all despite searching the net. But nvm, I shall ask gifted people and get enlightened.

The worst part of it is having to worry so much next week. You know, every start of the term, teachers will give a detailed plan of what's going to be taught in that term. Well, it most probably instills fear in our class. I am also a victim. I will worry, and that's the start of my nightmare when i go beijing. Ok, I heard the connection there is terrible, so many things will be screwed. For unit camp, it is ok, even if i screw things up, I know that there is a wk 9 to save me when i come back. What I am scared is pday and academics. I keep telling myself to remember last year's things being taught. It seems impossible to fill my brain with all the info I need to know for EoY. Nvm, I can consult the genius in my room, paxton chia, who is imba zai kia. Ok, for pday, I am very worried. Cuz, as a sec 4, high quality work is expected and I don't know if my grps can make it or not. If they do, everything should go smoothly.

ok today we had exco termly meeting. As boring as usual except with the exceptional long speech by onggs. Seems to be very packed in the upcoming term, even more when I am at beijing. nvm, I try to enjoy the 6 weeks there instead of being too stressed about things here in sg. tmr is going to be another hectic day, seems like the march holidays are flying fast. Gonna make do with whatever little rest left like what onggs said.

ok I have started blogging again after almost 1 year. sry for the delay, cuz I totally forgotten about it or i was too busy.

talk about upcoming things now, next term is going to be extremely hectic for me.
1) I am going beijing so when i come back in week 8, it will probably be the test week =)
2) I am the logistics and manpower i/c for unit camp but there is beijing so most work will be done after i come back...
3) Pday, have to count on my members to tank through prelims. Don't worry, i will make sure we go through semis then.
4) I am going OB phillipines with slim. Great. That's mean i pratically have week 9 to chiong everything cuz wk 8 tests, obviously nid to mug, then wk 10 is OB.

Till now, I still have phobia of going to beijing. I keep having this feeling of coming back as soon as possible from beijing. Nvm, maybe I will tank through. Tmr and day after, NPCC matters again. Gonna be busy.

I did well rather well in term 1, got msg of 2.0. rather lucky that chinese a2. seems to be the best termly msg in my whole hci life, excluding exams. =p

wa, almost two months haven blog le. Possibly because I too busy. Well, for academics not very screwed la, considering the fact that maths nvr get double c6 last term T_T. So current msg below 2, thankfully cuz chem and bio quite easy but for physics, I have nothing to say la, afterall the way the teacher does affect what knowledge you have received, which is directly affecting test grades. Also, english was also screwed la, I mean different teachers have different perceptions and expectations la, I can only blame it on our class's luck that we got joyce lim such a wonderful teacher to mark our essays.

Dun talk about academics le, yesterday was the after action review for the open house la. Then all organizing committee went at 9pm to salt centre to have meeting. Then talk and talk, end around 10:30. After that, I went lan with some other friends la. First match, surprisingly, me and zhiming won lols, cuz zw gave chance and feed me. It was like hard, since zw and yingjie were pros? Second match, I used tidehunter, then I farm and farm and farm and got divine rapier. Again , I was against zw, LoA leh. then enemy also got clinks, dmg damn pain late game. end game time, I still got 7k left lol. wanted to buy dagon bird but nvr la sicne I did not really know how to use then. I think main reason why we won was nick tang la, he feed too much. But he farm quite a lot, he got mjoinir when I got bfury and helm.. zai! 3rd match, lose like hell, since fiting zw and ben and andy while having nick in our team... Looking forward to next dota session

zzz, quite busy nowadays. project's day coming soon, still nid to revise chem test and settle some npcc matters. haiz, why would stevensu put pday on a tuesday la come on. It is totally illogical and stupid. Imagine having to spend the weekends preparing for them and after that day it would be school. zzz, no time even to go out after pday. How I wished it was on a friday, after pday can put my mind at ease during the weekends. What's more can do more meaningful things other than mugging. Also, my chem teacher (lohsj) is quite stupid as to assign the test just b4 pday. and he pushes the topics to be tested to the last minute... Wonder how I am gonna pass it when there are still many queries unanswered. What a joke! Studies nid to catch up quite a lot especially in physics cuz the lessons are really damn boring! Then maths also quite hard, nid to mug hard or else re-enact the tragedy last term la, then screw msg. zzz, hope that April pass fast into May cuz May got many public holiday and school holiday (sports meet). Yes, then june holidays.. all devoted to npcc.... =.= Haiz, let me just try not to think too far in the future and tackle the current situation. Got to sleep, tmr is a new beginning.

haiz, it has been an eventful month since I last posted. WEll, my results has been screwed due to 2 c6s contributed by maths! yes, it is maths! By now, all of you shld guess what my pathetic msg is...

nvm, I shall strive for better results next term. still trying to find a better blogskin, my present one is too dull. yesterday's training was horrendous, run 3 rounds of the usual route. WTH! very tiring, what's more have to shout cheer every 15 sec or else add 5 pumpings!!! siao ah! then every now and then knock it down.. zzz, what's the hell is ther prob... Moreover, those that did not run in the final lap had to come back for pumping!!! according to the CI, he said we did not train so much and had to compensate by pumping.. lousy theory! we were so tired, still have to pump when we came back right after the run!!!

Sry la, haven update for ages, my fault. I actually forgotten about blogging liao so blog is very dead. Anyway, the tests are over le but I hope I don't screw subjects. Looks quite impossible seems remarks from teachers are quite detrimental. Looking to a gd start in the year 2008, having passed cape and scoring not bad for certain subjects le. Hope I can keep up with the work or I may quit CSE (this seems as a form of niaoing to others). Getting niao these days but I will persevere and endure...

wa sianz, yesterday end of ATC man!
freaking hot and tiring for those bloody 3 days!
first nid to trek some bloody long distance like 5 km from jetty to campsite with that heavy bag
then ltr still got kayaking which was freaking tiring and many of us got sunburn on our necks..

it made us freakingly dirty with so much sand to tackle...
and the choppy waves of the sea were too strong for most of us to cope wif...

anyway, i and yingcong went for the school CIP and it was damn slack...
got 4 hrs by jus enduring the cold only...
it was kinda lame la, firstly went ushering and ushered only one guy?
stand outside the salt centre and stone for 20 mins, lol..
after that, we went for the presentation that lasted for 3 hrs..
veri cold man and I was shivering...
got a lot of videos though... and all were made by the students...
veri funny some of them and yingcong and I laughed a lot...
after it finished, still got a lot of refreshments and al the volunteers ate them all since there were like onli 4 guests around? lol!
the whole thing was lame and I got 4 hrs for jus stoning and enduring the cold, what a joke!

jus came back from the malaysia trip man.
had a lot of gd food for the past 2 days...
except got many flies la... zzzz....
they spoil everything though..
so many ah, then when eating food always come and disturb...

wa, yesterday was the parade man..
lol, npcc screwed up though, even the npcc goh did..
but overall still not bad la...
after the parade and concert,
some friends and I went for lan gaming...
lol, it was damn crowded man, so we went to plae arcade for a while...
then got many pro racers la like cw, taohui, yingze, benford, nk and acy?
after that we went for lunch at mac cuz we all too hungry le and what's more, the lan centres were all filled up though..
we then argued about where to go next la, and in the end, we went back to IRC.
went there and plae for a few hours of cs..
lol, acy was like a bloody camper especially at the dust map..
kept holding a magnum snipling sia...
and cw was scam la, kept hiding at those spots I cannot see lor, then died at siao..
the pool map, yingze and benford was like pwning la, siao!
spam kills at siao lor, I did not even have time to pick up weapon then die liao...
the house map was kinda lame la, someone kept snipling me though (shld be weiliang)..
and acydisplayed his super camping skills....
the snipling map was the worst, i died the most lor, taohui kep aiming la and cw was like so pro sia! acy was also not bad.. i was like the worst...
but overall, still veri fun la, hope to organize more of lan meetings during sept holidays.

feel as though under some kind of curse, unable to do well in anything...
firstly are the tests, mostly all flunk la, especially maths, heard from my parents when they went PTG, that the whole class did badly except for a few ah, cuz the highest was 36. Hope that Monday does not come.... I dun wan to face harsh reality...
Bio test also make quite a lot of mistakes here and there, sure minus a lot of marks.
todae chinese test also minus quite a lot, i think minus 3 liao, sure get pwned one.

the chinese rp discussion was a mess man when all three ppl screwed up especially keith. lol, it was evident he prepared that morning, right b4 the discussion. then, was attacked by alexander and juan lih, still got chick adding salt to fire.

then chinese, the teacher brought us to aphelion room and made us do some lame thing. don noe what's wrong wif her la, waste two periods trying to make us doing things relating to happiness. she is probably angry over this morning's incident(she was present during the discussion). lol, then andy's part was damn funny ah, evryone was like laughing.

then judo finals was kinda nice, look at representatives from each school competing against each other. the most exciting part was when the girls from RI fought our school's girls. lol, in the last match, there was a fatso lol, and it is practically impossible to win her cuz she is heavy and is part of the national team. omg! fought hard but lost expectedly. haiz, at the end, our school won only 2 divisions, the A and C division boys. jus hope that honcw won deprive us of half-day school.

wa, today project's day man!
totally screwed... not exactly though
while presenting, the judges were like staring at us! omg! and some were even shaking their heads... looks as though our project gg.
then came mighty acy la, he saved the whole group lol, presenting skills so pro, Q&A session he answer all the questions, also convinced the judges somehow.
seems though we might make it to the finals cuz at the end of everything, the judges told some groups to stay back and said that these groups stand a chance to go to the finals and surprisingly, our group was one of them too!
lol, most likely tyco but with acy, we sure can do better in finals.
anyway there was this part in the presentation la that we must show our webpage.
And we were so embarrassed to show to the judges the webpage cuz it was veri childish and funny. lol, andy created it but also not bad la, better than nothing.

haiz, so long haven post but i would like to comment on the pdp held on sunday.
it was veri tiring, felt like my heels was on fire. of cuz i was trying to resist la, i would not want the pm to notice me. lol, anyway too short, he won notice me though. seems like the camp is a scam, lol, paid $20 for the bloody thing, onli promise fun and games but barely food except for breakfast? sianz... this few days got nothing to play, all gaming acc tio hacked, especially runescape. lol, it was hacked TWICE. zzzz... so lame hacker knew how to do it by the initials

well, overall, not bad la, not much bad comments =)

U see for every round, one person will be representing the school la. So don be mistaken that we r playing individually, but we are actually playing for our school la in a solo match against another school. and to think onli 11 schools took part, including their own school. zzzzzzz........... nvm......... guess what? we won 2nd. not bad la. at least can cheer up tcw from that glum face of his, knowing the fact that the whole unit has not won any trophy nor medals la for any com, onli participation certificates. lolz...... though the trophy might be insignificant, but afterall still a trophy la, not bad la, got leap points too.

Sianz, comment about friday's training la.

Quite surprised la, first time wear uniform for a veri short time.
After muster parade then change to campcraft kit.
Also, campcraft also veri slack and boring.
dun noe how many times got revision on knots and lashings.........

Worst thing was the fatso thingy, attitude lor.
seems as though a teacher la.
tell us go out in the rain for a long period of time la.
almost drenched but not so bad.....
Howver, stood like idiots, awaiting impatiently for the call for us to resume PT.

hmm, the CNY is almost over.

Looks like i ned to make some resolutions:

1)Grow taller
2)Become smarter
3)Be more physically fit
4)Be more sociable
5)Be more peace-loving
6)Do more meritorious deeds
7)Sacrifice more
8)Give in more

Well, these are the 8 resolutions i have for 2007, hope they can be achieved
(8 is a lucky no.)

Well, i also won some money from gambling.
Learned a card game called in between.
quite fun though.

Seems to be blogging once every three to four days.

Let me comment on CNY celebrations la.

Sianz, on Friday, two days bak, was the school Cny celebrations.
Almost everyone wore bright clothes la.
Onli ppl like me and juan li not wearing.
Tio scam la.
last year, it was like the other way round
in which i wore bright clothes
and got a bad response
especially when i went bak to old school la.
The teachers kept commentin on how i was different from others
u see, all of them wore school uni la.
damn zi bei and 与众不同 in a bad way.
sianz, then this year, tio scammed
and again the cycle goes on.
Wonder what happens next year？

commenting on the cny celebrations,
there were quite dull la.
cuz i c some ppl like chi chian and anjie playing weiqi.
???!!!
what in the world?

and they continued like 10+ rounds till the whole thing ended.

Then the lion dance was quite attractive.
c some ppl veri engrossed in it.
not bad, i must say
but it fail to perk me up
felt as though the cny was quite extra in a sense
failed to bring joy to me

But the songs and games were quite enriching la,
other than that, i am sorry to say that the rest were not much better.
